EVENT: Upgrade!

Where: The train!

[ There is a new car attached to the back of the train. You'll have to get past the garden, the gym, and the library to get to... the arcade.

Near the entrance is where you'll find the conveniently-placed machines to get tokens to play any of the arcade games. It seems to be a formality because it doesn't actually cost you any sparks to play the games, but be sure to swing by there before you hit up the games. And what an array there are! Overall, there's two floors filled with various types of games.

There's the crane games, filled with various cute plush versions of monsters you may have faced before (both during your stay on the Aurora and back home) as well as, more rarely-- is that a plush of yourself? Or one of your teammates perhaps, someone you care about on the train. It might be worth trying to pick one up!

Next of course are the video games and there's an array for all kinds of interests-- Rhythm games of all types, fighting games, shooting games, racing games... There's no shortage of different types you can play. Try one out, you might like it!

There's also a variety of purikura photo booths if you and/or a friend would like to try your hand at getting a cute set of sticker photos.

You've got some time to relax for the moment, so why not try it out at the arcade? ]

[ And he swings easily onto one of the motorcycle racing games, making sure Rean is sitting and ready before he starts playing. RNG says that Rean's gonna win this one, but Crow's definitely not going to make it easy on him. ]

[He looks smug and happy about it, winning is always great.]

Alright. I think I have the controls down.

No kidding you've got them down.

[ He's grumbling but Rean can tell he's not actually upset, he's not bothering to hide that where Rean can feel it. ]

Let's try again-- but this time with some stakes involved.

All right. What stakes?

Winner gets to dress the loser however they want and the loser has to wear that outfit for an entire day. No questions, no arguing.

Hm...

[Thinking about it.]

Yeah, okay.

Ha! I hope you're prepared because I've got plans.

I'll have to ask you what they were another time.

[ Crow winks before he starts the next round. ]

Oh I think you'll find out quickly.

[He's not going to go easy.]

You know, it's really hot when you're confident like that. ...Even if I'm still gonna beat you.

[ Crow manages to pull ahead into the lead a couple of times, but ultimately Rean will get the win again-- if only barely. ]

[Rean just grins, and grins wider when he wins.]

Looks like it's you that has to pay up.

I almost had that!

[ The protest bubbles out of him as he glares accusingly at the screen for a moment. But when he turns to face Rean again, he shakes his head and grins. ]

A deal's a deal, though! So tell me, what does your heart desire? ...To dress me in?

Almost, but almost isn't good enough.

I'll just have to get you next time.

[ But Crow's grin just widens at that. ]

A surprise, huh? Now I'm really curious.

I won't go easy on you next time either. You'd better practice.
