EVENT: Upgrade!

Where: The train!

[ There is a new car attached to the back of the train. You'll have to get past the garden, the gym, and the library to get to... the arcade.

Near the entrance is where you'll find the conveniently-placed machines to get tokens to play any of the arcade games. It seems to be a formality because it doesn't actually cost you any sparks to play the games, but be sure to swing by there before you hit up the games. And what an array there are! Overall, there's two floors filled with various types of games.

There's the crane games, filled with various cute plush versions of monsters you may have faced before (both during your stay on the Aurora and back home) as well as, more rarely-- is that a plush of yourself? Or one of your teammates perhaps, someone you care about on the train. It might be worth trying to pick one up!

Next of course are the video games and there's an array for all kinds of interests-- Rhythm games of all types, fighting games, shooting games, racing games... There's no shortage of different types you can play. Try one out, you might like it!

There's also a variety of purikura photo booths if you and/or a friend would like to try your hand at getting a cute set of sticker photos.

There's little to tell so far, as I've only recently awakened. I've chosen to answer to Tide for the moment.

In a manner of speaking. I have the advantage of it being part of my nature forget things sometimes. So the memories come back at their own pace.

[his eyes glint, faintly crystalline, as he invokes his ability to perceive mana and the immaterial]

[He's not human though his soul is? Sorta. He's some kind of spirit, being fed mana from at least two sources elsewhere. He's hard to really discern as a creature. Human soul and.... Something? Voidbeast? At any rate he's an existence a little like a familiar and a little like a guardian spirit.

He tilts his head watching those eyes.]

I'm kind of like a guardian spirit. When I wake up it's often several centuries after I fall asleep. You could call my amnesia an extreme grogginess.

[if Rean also has mage-senses, he can definitely feel a vast, inhuman power within this small newbie, though he's definitely human. the magesight he's using isn't the only power he has active, either.]

That seems more than a bit inconvenient, even under the circumstances.

[He can sense things but he won't comment. It's everyone's right to discover themselves. The other power is interesting though.]

It's... Actually probably a lot more convenient in a way.

[He doesn't elaborate.]

In any case, how are you settling in?

Have you made many friends yet?

I've met several people, and perhaps friendships will result from that.

That's a start anyway. In my experience we've got a mix of shy people and persistent people, so the bonding thing has been uneven.

Well, I wouldn't class myself as shy.

What would you say you're like? So far.

Should I not leave that judgement to others? My own perspective on myself will be unavoidably biased.
