INTROS + MONTHLIES
Who: Everyone
When: Day 51, evening
Where: the Aurora
[It's evening, and as the stars come out you get that text again:]
[This round's newbies are waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas.
Outside, the fog is gone. In its place is a pleasant evening, its beauty enhanced by tiny, softly-glowing flowers along the jungle paths. Unfortunately, should you peer closer toy may notice these flowers have blackened, curled leaves -- and the scent that wafts up when you step on them will either heighten or dull one of your senses.
But hey, why go in the jungle when you could eat questionable snacks in the lounge again? This time there are towers of round chocolates in varying colours, and sparkle blue and white snowflake decor on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. In typical Star Prince and Knights fashion there is a lot of glitter, and the chocolates definitely have a magical side-effect: in this case, transformation.
☆ Blue-wrapped chocolates cause your character to shift in age. They may get older or younger, and this transformation may be purely physical or may include mental shifting as well.
☆ Silver-wrapped chocolates cause your character to gain animal features -- anything from cat ears to fully becoming a cat is acceptable, and any animal real or mythical is game. It won't change you to a size that doesn't fit in the train, though.
☆ White-wrapped chocolates cause a transformation to a different physical sex.
☆ Black-wrapped chocolates cause you to take on the form of another person -- someone on the train or someone you remember from elsewhere. It won't turn you into anyone you don't personally know, however.
These effects wear off within a few hours, and you can combine more than one. Enjoy your icebreaker and make that fresh meat feel welcome!]
[[OOC NOTES: As the monthly prompt, the flowers will continue until next month's placements. If you have any questions, please ping the mods via the q&a. Thank you!]]

[ After dressing herself in clothes that--definitely don't remotely resemble those she last remembers wearing in a room that doesn't look at all like she last remembers sleeping in, this (somehow still) nameless child comes wandering out into Licorice's main cabin. After a quick look around-- ]
... I knew it didn't look right. Did someone redecorate while I was asleep?
[ What happened to Hazel???? Not that she's complaining, but... where did all of the plants go?? ]
[ Chocolates ]
[ She can be found examining the towers of blue, silver, and white wrapped candy. ]
Are we celebrating something today?
Licorice
Hm? Were you somewhere else?
/2
... Also, strangely maybe, someone that's wild-looking isn't at all scary. Strange, that. ]
The last I remember was going to bed in Hazel... Did someone move me?
...
Re: Licorice
WAIT, WHO CHANGED MY CLOTHES?!
[ SHE DEFINITELY DID NOT GO TO BED WEARING THOSE PAJAMAS SHE WOKE UP IN, HOLY SMOKES!!! ]
Re: Licorice
Right! Okay! One thing at a time! Hazel?
Re: Licorice
she's a little freaked out ]
Hazel, my team! You've never seen our cabin!?
[ It's a small train how could they have not seen ]
Re: Licorice
Re: Licorice
What do you mean?
[ Sure, Hazel wasn't a big team, but... the train's not that large? How could they have not seen the carriage? Are they really that new? ]
... Just how long have you been here?
Re: Licorice
Re: Licorice
four days on this tiny train and she's never seen them before!? ]
Have I been asleep for four days!?
[ in some other team's carriage?! listen she knows they weren't that close or anything but WHO IN HAZEL ALLOWED THIS!? ]

[ Yo, he's strangely lured to this complete stranger and doesn't know why but here he is, looking over your shoulder. He's got some adorable squirrel ears and fluffy tail just right for petting. ]
They taste good but have some pretty mean side effects.

and
EARS.
FLUFFY EARS AND TAIL.
WANT. TOUCH. EARS.
in fact, she's too busy curling her fingers into tight little fists to keep herself from reaching out to instantly pet them to really catch onto what he's saying. or for that matter to really be paying attention to who she's talking to--not that she'd recognize him either way. ]
I'm sorry, what was that?
no subject
Don't eat the candies.
no subject
She also takes issue with that tone. ]
You're not the boss of me.
[ would she eat an obviously suspicious piece of candy JUST to spite the guy who's giving her such a cold look?
her hand is edging toward one of the piles. ]
no subject
[ She's actually going to do it. All while maintaining eye contact with him like some child]
If I was you'd know if I told you not to eat something, you shouldn't eat it.
no subject
Even if you were I still wouldn't listen to you.
[ she tears open the package of chocolate and pops the tasty morsel into her mouth. TAKE THAT, GIANT STRANGER with your cute fluffy ears you're so stingy with... ]
no subject
Especially after she stubbornly eats one. Maybe he should have been more explicit in why she shouldn’t eat them. ]
You’re a stubborn child.
[ Cute, but stubborn. He should walk away but curiosity keeps him there. Even if just to tell her ‘I told you so.’
Okay maybe she’s not the only child here.]
/2
And... well... here's one more: that cute young lady just got an awful lot younger. ]

Nope, been this way the whole time.

[ She doesn't recognize him, either, but--maybe that doesn't mean anything? ]
Why am I here and not in Hazel?
