[Hey, Aurora. Do you hear that? A slight whining noise, barely audible over the noises of the train itself?

Well, early in the morning of day 42, that whine becomes a loud POP.

And now all the public cars and all of Senna is literally covered in glitter. Glitter rains from the vents. Shoots out from under seats. Glitter big enough to come in funny shapes. Tiny iridescent glitter that you're never going to get out of your clothes coats the windows, making the scenery glimmer. Glitter everywhere in every shape, size and color.]

I--I'm not sure. I feel as though I've been asleep, but I couldn't say how long...

What's the last thing that happened that you remember?

I remember the secrets trial...and not much beyond that. I know there was a trial I missed that applied status effects.

Kashuu stabbed me out of paranoia. I...haven't seen him since.

[There's a certain monotone flatness to that statement, isn't there? Naeva's fine. It's fine.]

You weren't at the Kiss or Dare trial, right? That was... about three days ago?

No, it was one of the ones at the bar. It was actually really fun!

I think I may have had more than a little trouble with it , though.

[You know. With the kissing part.]

The dares were pretty harmless. I only had to pass and kiss someone twice.

I've had pretty bad luck with that kind of game.

[She does chuckle, though, and kind of pats Eliza with a paw.]

I should think whoever you were playing with is lucky you chose to pass at all.

Dusk wanted me to change my outfit and Crow wanted me to do a dramatic confession. They were extreme cases.

[She does snort for real this time.]

Sounds like Crow. He was happy with either outcome, I bet.

Oh he was.

[said plenty cheerfully, eliza was ALSO happy with that outcome]

Have you met Dusk? The big blond guy on Clover?

...Briefly, I think? I don't think he had a name yet.

You totally should! He's pretty great. He bought me a whole deer last night so we could get venison and so I could have the skeleton to keep.

Goodness, now how am I supposed to compete with fresh venison and fresh bones?

He also spent the night so I could sleep.

[and because he needs company to sleep too, but that's not eliza's business to share]

Oh...that's good. Are you getting more sleep?

Oh, um, like in general?

It's not easy to just get more sleep.

It's not avoiding... I just haven't made any improvements that don't require another person's presence.

[She will allow this squishing while she thinks.] Well, if Dusk's bed isn't otherwise occupied, it's a solution for now, isn't it? It isn't as though war nightmares are a thing you can solve overnight.
