[Have you enjoyed your day playing in your new train cars? Great! Because now it's Trial Time.

With the usual alert, the Cat's bar appears in the clearing. There's no "come hither" -- instead, just the pounding of bass from the speakers as the door cracks open. Inside there's flashing party lights, upbeat club music, and high-top tables surrounding a wide dance floor. The stage in the corner is empty except for a single microphone.

At the bar you can get free drinks, but you'll have to contend with the bartender -- a black cat curled up on the shelf between the bottles.

On the bar, and on every table, is a sign showing the rules of this game, titled:

Kiss or Dare

If you want to dress up for the club, or want costumes for daring purposes, there's a dressing room behind the stage with a magic closet. You'll find whatever you like in it, but when the trial ends you can only take home what you're wearing!

[ Runs a hand down his wing ]

[ Brushing said wing against him ]

All right if I touch? [He's been very curious, reaching a hand out towards a wing, but waiting for permission.]

[ Instinctively pulls back before he realizes what he's doing, eyes going slightly wider, wary

Then he seems to blink and come back to himself ]

Uh, yeah, sure, I don't mind. I think Eliza is the only one who ever has before.

[He pulls back when he does. Studying him a moment.]

[Ponders a moment.]

[Then reaches out, just gently brushing his fingers over the feathers, watching his reaction.]

[ There's slight tensing in his shoulders and Felix's gaze never leaves Dusk. But after the initial touch, he relaxes a tiny bit more ]

.... how do they feel?

[ Quieter than before ] how do they feel

[He keeps his touch gentle, careful. Seems like a big deal thing for Felix and he's not gonna make him regret it, darn it.]

They're really soft. [His own voice softer.]

[ Eyelids get a bit heavier ]

Yeah... they don't quite feel like a bird...

Might be....I'd guess magic. I'm not sure this wingspan could support your body weight. [Gentle petting of the wings.]

[ Speaking somewhat more languidly and relaxing even more ]

The fact that I have them is weird enough, I try not to think about the scientific indescrepencies...

At least they look nice.

[Are you falling asleep like this?]

[ Blinks ]

Huh? What? No, it just feels... nice. Like I said, it doesn't happen that often.

[ And it feels very familiar ]

[He nods.] I can get that. I've had a few people decide petting me was the best way to get me to fall asleep. [Gesturing at his hair.]
