[He's certainly relaxing. He's always got a certain level of tension in his frame while he's moving, but right now it's melting away. It really won't take long for him to fall asleep and that's. Really nice after everything.]
[Rean's earned a lot of trust and Dusk is lacking a lot of his trust issues.]
[So it all works out. And he does do better when he's not alone.]
Hm. Next time.
[Barely audible because he is very tired. After the past few days and the nightmare and surgery, he needs sleep.]
[Soon enough he'll have drifted off, and overall, very still as he sleeps. Another presence doing wonders to keep his mind from plaguing him with any painful memories.]
[He smiles as Dusk's breathing evens. He really will pet him slooooowly for hours, as long as it seems to help he'll keep it up and watch him sleep and space out. Gentle and fond.]
Not eating weird plants should already be standard.
[Laughing a little but.]
I think it's just because everyone ends up drawn to people they feel they can trust. You've already noticed it but a lot of people here don't know how to open their hearts to others. But you're the kind of guy who seems like it'd be safe to be vulnerable around.
And maybe the kind who needs a little looking after too. We have a lot of awkward mothet hens.
More like, isn't it natural people will worry about you if they like you and you're a little selfless? It's not good to make people fret but a little worry is pretty normal, so it should be fine.
Re: Bond
[He's joking but he sounds almost serious, only a little lightness in his deadpan.]
I'm glad though. Get some sleep if you can.
[He's not going to stop the languid petting, perfectly content to pet Dusk into unconciousness like one might a cat.]

Re: Bond
It's not bad at least.
[He's speaking softer as Dusk's tension melts.]
Maybe I'll regale you next time.
[Honestly he's relieved Dusk is relaxing at all, it's heartening.]

Re: Bond
Re: Bond
[He's probably gonna start stirring at around four hours.]
[He....he doesn't actually need a ton of sleep, thanks super soldier stuff, which just says how poorly he must have slept before getting here.]
Re: Bond
Re: Bond
[He seems to settle after a minute, maybe going back to sleep.]
[Except his eyes are opening to look at Rean.]
Morning.
[Well, he doesn't sound completely groggy.]
Re: Bond
[He stills his fingers in Dusk's hair, no his arm didn't get tired that whole time.]
You can sleep more, you know? Did a dream wake you?
Re: Bond
Re: Bond
[He'll gently run his fingers though Dusk's hair one last time before pulling his hand back.]
No bad dreams?
Re: Bond
[He shakes his head.] No. Pretty dreamless. Maybe a bit of dreaming of being outside. [Sitting up now, rubbing at his eyes.]
Re: Bond
Outside like what?
[Just content to watch Dusk waking up really.]
Re: Bond
Loki did the same thing after the secrets game. He's skittish, so I just let him do it as long as he wanted.
Re: Bond
[What could Loki--wait]
Loki is the guy on Jasmine?
Re: Bond
Yeah. He said he didn't have a nickname, so I could just choose something. He seems like a Loki to me. [Because Cael is a cat.]
Re: Bond
Loki huh? Not a bad name.
Re: Bond
Yeah. Though hopefully he'll choose one he actually likes soon. Not sure how he felt on it.
Re: Bond
Re: Bond
Do I smell different?
Re: Bond
[But the twinkle in his eyes says he's joking.]
Re: Bond
[He snorts.] I guess that means I should stop eating that weird plant outside.
Re: Bond

Re: Bond
....I am? [Seems genuinely surprised.] I mean, I try to be trustworthy, but I wasn't sure I was doing it....well.
...do I really worry people that much?
