That said, sir, what transpired during this trial if I may ask.

We were given a list of personality traits and asked to choose which best represent our team as a whole. Then we were tasked with guessing other teams' traits, via symbolic items. Wrong answers inflicted punishment on the teams whose symbols we failed to identify.

It was thoroughly annoying.

My sympathies, sir, that does sound very frustrating.

[she gets the point of the game, they should all be getting along and learning about one another etc, but, honestly.]

Would that I could say that it would not happen again, but I would not lie to you about that.
