[There isn't any time for naeva to recognize or acknowledge this trauma. Time is of the essence, especially once this stops.

Her magic is powerful enough to stop the bloodflow, make it clean when she slices Hlasoh's stomach open with a single, razor-sharp claw, but she knows it'll still hurt and the scent of blood still is overwhelming. she has a minute, maybe two, maybe five, to reach in and take hold of the parasite, forcibly wrench it free of her body.

It's not a clean or elegant surgery, and the eerie lack of blood spurt may make it even more horrific. No, this must happen fast, and it must happen now.]

[Her body jolts violently, and her scream is suppressed by the handkerchief. She knew this was going to happen, but it's hard not to scream and move around when you are being sliced open and panicking besides. Still, to Hlasoh's credit, she does what she can to stay still, and she knows that Naeva will struggle to hold back her own bloodthirst- she just needs to go to the numb place again. Tune it all out, even if it's hard when all of the visions and voices in her head won't stop and she groans at the horror of it all.]

[The good news is, Naeva is fast, wrenching the thing out and crushing it in her hands. The bad news is, healing with her blood magic...hurts. The body stitches itself back together, wounds closing, organs mending, muscle and skin knitting back together as blood flow resumes, and every second of it is agonizing.

To say nothing of how hungry naeva must be now...

But it is done, and Naeva drapes her coat over Hlasoh and turns away, to hide how hard she's shaking.]

[Even so, it's terrifying for Hlasoh- something on a deep level just resists having somebody cut you open, stopping the flow of blood, reaching inside you, feeling around your organs, and pulling something out that you can't see. But all of this is an effective distraction from the hallucinations, so in some sense, she is almost grateful for it, and grateful for the excruciating pain of her body stitching itself back together, the bizarre jolt of her circulation starting and stopping, her organs being damaged and healing.

She huddles under the coat, shivering herself and breathing hard. For now there are no visions, and the voices are barely audible.]
