Who: All the cute little heroes
When: Day 35, evening
Where: Back To Your Regularly Scheduled Great Outdoors, Just outside the train
[ The beach fades away all at once, taking the cheery sunshine with it as evening hits all at once-- it melts away in a shower of sparkles as the familiar setting re-emerges. There are new stars in the sky above in clover pink, senna red, jasmine blue, and licorice violet.
Just before the beach disappears entirely, the bubbly voice speaks once more: ]
Wasn't that so much fun! You all rrrrrreally got to know each other, didn't you? Keep up the good work~!
[ If you had any alcohol in hand you still have it, otherwise everything from the trial is gone. ]

lap pillow
as if expecting him to sleep literally right here. ]

[Wha]
[I don't]
[yeah, okay, he will let this happen because he's not sure what is up. Maybe Cael is a cat? He was too aggressive at first and that's why he bolted?????? Makes sense to him.]

So you did most of the work? Good job, good job~.

[He sighs, letting his eyes close, and he'll just let Cael keep petting.]
Yeah, basically. They did help at the end, but I think I talked to everyone.

quiet for a moment, a moment longer - before he murmurs something quiet, voice pitched low and soft ]

though there's still a lap that he's lying down on, and there's still the physical sensation of someone's fingers running through his hair, so . . .

Done
[Makes as much sense as teleporting, honestly.]
[He makes an amused sound and]
[Well, when a cat has chosen you for AFFECTION, you don't leave. That's a sin.]
[So he'll close his eyes so it's a little less weird and let himself relax.]

then, the weight returns to moving more steadily, back to petting consistently
( ^='-'=^) ]

[And it is nice to just rest and have physical affection for a while, it's helping a lot.]
[So winning all around. :3]

he will, in fact, genuinely sit here forever until dusk either actually falls asleep or moves again, so there's that.
cat affection. ]

[He's pretty content to lay here a while. Might drift off a bit because power naps are how he's lived his life for a while.]
[Cat affection]

unless he wakes up in a particularly startling fashion
in which case
he will spook into sparkles. ]
no subject
[And idk, he does kind of start awake, but it's just like sudden tension, eyes snapping open]
[Which might be startling.]

. . .
. . .
then, relaxing, like. what. absolutely not i was not spooked. absolutely not
. . .
. . .
then, without a word, just disappearing away into sparkles. actually we don't need to talk about this ]
no subject
[Oh, he fell asleep a bit. And Cael is relaxing?]
[That's fine th-]
[Flat on the ground again with a dull thud.] ....yep, that's a cat. [But that was pretty winning for a cat.]
