[ The beach fades away all at once, taking the cheery sunshine with it as evening hits all at once-- it melts away in a shower of sparkles as the familiar setting re-emerges. There are new stars in the sky above in clover pink, senna red, jasmine blue, and licorice violet.

Just before the beach disappears entirely, the bubbly voice speaks once more: ]

Wasn't that so much fun! You all rrrrrreally got to know each other, didn't you? Keep up the good work~!

[ If you had any alcohol in hand you still have it, otherwise everything from the trial is gone. ]

then, the weight returns to moving more steadily, back to petting consistently

[And it is nice to just rest and have physical affection for a while, it's helping a lot.]

he will, in fact, genuinely sit here forever until dusk either actually falls asleep or moves again, so there's that.

[He's pretty content to lay here a while. Might drift off a bit because power naps are how he's lived his life for a while.]

[ occasionally his hand stills, as though testing to see if he's still awake, but he'll otherwise be there until dusk decides to wake up for real

unless he wakes up in a particularly startling fashion

he will spook into sparkles. ]

[Nope, definitely fell asleep there. And is fairly still for a while because he sleep a lot better with someone around.]

[And idk, he does kind of start awake, but it's just like sudden tension, eyes snapping open]

[Which might be startling.]

then, without a word, just disappearing away into sparkles. actually we don't need to talk about this ]
