How did you find these dragons? And were they alive at the time?

Have I not told you anything about what my job is? Also that's a terrible way to phrase that question unless you want nasty implications.

I'm not saying you did anything! I'm curious if you saw them when they were alive versus just skeletons. Because I bet they looked even more amazing in the flesh!

They probably did, and I could show you if I had the spell back, but they're extinct. Isildur and Isolde are over 5,000 years dead.

When I was twelve. I wanted to summon dragons, but all the ones I wanted most were extinct.

So you got into paleontology and necromancy at the same time?

Yep! I'm a paleo-necrozoologist.

Where's the zoologist come in? I thought that only applies to the living ones.

Well, you could say I'm also a paleobiolgist, but the thing is that we're not just doing ontology. My summons are up and active, allowing for studies bery similar to what we could collect from live animals. A lot of my work is focused on locomotion.
