[Eclair just growls, quite wolf-like. He's got way too many feelings, but chief among them is "I should've chased him". It hurts. There's so many more he wanted to say. He doesn't remember why he was afraid to say it, or what he was so angry, but... it's a lot. Having already heard that they made up isn't enough to make Eclair feel any more secure or less lonely, so...

...So he's reaching up to grab Ciabatta's collar just like in that memory, to yank him down onto the couch with him. Because the best way for Eclair to deal with his feelings is obviously by kissing Ciabatta really hard!]

Needless to say, he didn't expect it, and is halfway stumbled onto him. After a long moment of no movements, he's opening his mouth the tiniest bit and kissing him lightly in return. He's talking but it's a whisper. ]

There's a moment, then his hand is lightly stroking the back of Eclair's neck. ]

It wasn't your fault.

[Don't mind him just burying his face in Ciabatta's shoulder to cry on him. Right now that old wound feels fresh, so he's holding on tight, like Ciabatta might disappear on him if he doesn't.]

[Please remind him because at the time it felt like they never would.]
