Who: Heroes, possibly suffering
When: Day 16, Late Morning through Afternoon
Where: Aurora
[Well, that just happened! Many people on the train are now doubtlessly the worse for wear, physically and psychologically. How are you sorting all of that out?
Alternately, maybe you have enough Sparks for a memory and you're playing it on the big screen? Or you're testing out a new power?
Or maybe you have something else in mind? Mingle away!]

Memory Broadcast
In the first, he's fishing with his father.
In the second, he shares a romantic moment with a cute girl.
The third, though, is the tail end of a painful argument with Ciabatta. While Eclair looked relatively happy for the first two, by the time that memory's done he's got tears rolling down his face.
When it stops he shakes his head to clear it, rubbing at his face with the heels of his palms.]
What the hell...?

She doesn't think you'd want a spontaneous hug???]

[Oh it's. Someone with alcohol? He takes the bottle, a little weakly.]
Thanks?

[It's okay she just doesn't have any butterscotch candy.
yet.]

[He doesn't remember. But also he's sad and it does sound like a good idea...]

[She kind of shrugs, a little.]
You don't seem like you want hugs from strangers, and I'm out of other ideas.

[A plan!! Which is helping him calm down.]

[JUST. JUST A HUNCH SHE HAS.]

[She sighs a little bit.] I'm obligated to ask you please don't do long-term physical or psychological damage to him. But I couldn't say you're not justified...and I won't intervene.
[In other words, fuck him up, fam.]

[He's going to do THE OPPOSITE.]

Re: Memory Broadcast
You look like you just got stood up on a date.
Re: Memory Broadcast
[you big dumb bird!!
but actually looking at CB just makes Eclair cry harder so]
Re: Memory Broadcast
his big baby. ]
Some things never change. You're still as soft as ever.
Re: Memory Broadcast
[Eclair just growls, quite wolf-like. He's got way too many feelings, but chief among them is "I should've chased him". It hurts. There's so many more he wanted to say. He doesn't remember why he was afraid to say it, or what he was so angry, but... it's a lot. Having already heard that they made up isn't enough to make Eclair feel any more secure or less lonely, so...
...So he's reaching up to grab Ciabatta's collar just like in that memory, to yank him down onto the couch with him. Because the best way for Eclair to deal with his feelings is obviously by kissing Ciabatta really hard!]
Re: Memory Broadcast
Needless to say, he didn't expect it, and is halfway stumbled onto him. After a long moment of no movements, he's opening his mouth the tiniest bit and kissing him lightly in return. He's talking but it's a whisper. ]
...what kind of reaction is that?
Re: Memory Broadcast
[Back then, right now, he just wanted to. He also wants to hug Ciabatta so he's going to, half pulling him into his lap to do it.]
...I didn't want you to go.
Re: Memory Broadcast
There's a moment, then his hand is lightly stroking the back of Eclair's neck. ]
It wasn't your fault.
Re: Memory Broadcast
We made up, right?
[Please remind him because at the time it felt like they never would.]

Re: Memory Broadcast
[He's upset!! But he knows logically that it was a long time ago and that things are presumably going to be okay between them. It still sucks! It still hurts.]
Re: Memory Broadcast
[She doesn't look very fine. But she's fine, really. She gives him a brief, sympathetic glance, then looks away.]
Re: Memory Broadcast
...It's just an old memory. You upset about yesterday?
Re: Memory Broadcast
...I'll be alright.
