Of course I do. Most anything can be better with a little sweet.

Ahh ... hm, I wonder ...
no subject
Just not as good.
...what?
no subject
Hmm, well! It's nothing important, I'm just thinking about food. And Mao. And how much food Mao had. What kind of food Mao had.

He worked all day without eating?
no subject
[ because clearly, dusk hasn't yet grasped the depths of her love for honey. clearly. ]
[ sorry she's like this ]
He prob'ly ate breakfast ... [ It was like, afternoon. ] I wasn't hungry, so I must've had something before the memory.

[Scurvy is a terrible thing.]
Is the kind he had important?
no subject
[ But she shakes her head. ]
Not important. Like I said, just wondering ... I need a lot of food, you know. Did he help me hunt? Did we buy food from human shops? [ That would've gotten expensive very, very quickly. ]
no subject
....it doesn't seem like the place with a lot of hunting. Unless the house was out in the woods.
no subject
[ Lowers her hand slowly ... ]
It's not. I think? Didn't smell like it, or like the sea.
no subject
And you really wouldn't look good without your teeth. Pulls the whole look together for cute, but fierce.
What did it smell like?
no subject
It smelled like, hmm ... [ Tilts her head back, closing her eyes. ] Like Mao's house, grass, flowers, tarmac, cars, honey, cats, dogs, small prey.
no subject
So suburban?
no subject
[ Tilts her head. ]
Small town? I think? Surrounded by fields.
no subject
Hmmm, might not be too far from places to hunt.
Or farmland.
no subject
[ She will accept no arguments ]
Prob'ly lots of deer, maybe fish if there's rivers nearby.
no subject
Deer is a lot of meat. How much DO you eat a day?
no subject
[ His question is a good one, though. How much does she like to eat when she gets it? ]
Ummm. Lots? Lots and lots. I can eat a whole red deer for lunch and still want snacks later.

But it does allow for a whole lot more options when I'm lacking in resources to solve a big problem. It saved my life a few times during the whole heart game thing. So yeah, I think I do like it.
...that is a lot.

[ Laughs tho ]
I am a big predator. [ She can walk and talk and dress like a human, but in the end she's at the top of her universe's food chain. GIRL GOTTA EAT. ]
no subject
True. Just hard to imagine since you're usually in the smaller form.
no subject
Smaller is ... easier, here. If I was big I wouldn't fit through any of the doors. [ And that would get old fast ]
Prob'ly spent a lot of time small with Mao, too. Human life isn't built with dragons in mind.
no subject
I don't have a problem asking other people for help.
They are kind of small.
It's really not. Chairs aren't really made for anything with more than two legs.
no subject
[ Being able to ask for help when you need it is Valid and Important and Meri approves. ]
I've got another token. [ Pulls it out of her pocket, ears twitching. ] Could see more of my not-human adventures in human-land.
no subject
Sure. Always up for fish out of water stories. Or fire breathing badass stories.
