[ Stares at the screen, floofy ears pricked and Alert. ]

I must've tried already and lost the trail somewhere. [ Huffs, annoyed. ] Stupid memory! I want to know what happened!

You do have that kind of vibe, yes. [Which is probably why they argue sometimes. Too Similar.]

Well, he's probably fine? He's not like walking dead now, right?

[ She gives a little shrug, pulling a section of hair over her shoulder to run her fingers through it. ]

I don't like doing things alone when I don't have to. [ She can go it alone, she's perfectly capable, but why would she want to? Friendship and teamwork makes the dream work, ok. ]

Still want to know what happened. Where'd he go? Who was he with? Why doesn't Ryouta like me?

Depends on the thing. If I'm fast enough on my own... [He shrugs.] I've just had people think I thought it was the plague.Like some other people do.

To be fair, Ryouta was in a whole situation and you were way more focused on Mao. He might feel you're dismissive of him?

Or maybe he's protective and Mao has a habit of being pulled into crazy and you're a catalyst event. The 'chaos follows chaos' thing seems to happen a lot.

[ Tilts her head at him, ears flicking. ]

You assumed the same thing about me. [ That Argument they'd had ... ]

Oh, no no, the dislike's from before Ryouta's ... situation? Situation. I was thinking about it while I was scrolling through my mobile. He really, really loves Mao. Not me, so much. But if Mao's in trouble, there's nobody I'd rather get help from.

I did, but to be fair, I know a lot of emotionally stunted people who treat help like the plague and I don't think those numbers are gonna improve much with memories. Wanting to be asked how to help is a pretty unexpected reason to reject help.

I don't mean that exact situation as wondering if it's a status quo. You still wandered about his opinion of you and yet when you found him, you were still very focused on Mao and not the fact he was definitely in a bad situation. It came off that helping him was all about helping Mao and not any concern for him. If that was normal, it could come across as callous.

[ She frowns, tapping her foot not unlike a cat swishing its tail. Setting aside that old can of worms for a minute ... ]

Of course I was focused on Mao. He was the one still missing, and between Ryouta and me, six humans aren't a threat. [ It's not even a brag, she's just that much stronger than them. ] Ryouta doesn't need me making a fuss over him.
