The Thirtieth Trial

Where: Trial zone

[The trial zone doesn't exactly appear to be inthe best shape. It's the ruins of an old building, something once grand, perhaps a castle, with a strange statue of sorts with six spheres leading to a large seventh on a pedestal. It's possible t see a forest beyond the walls, though find a way out to that seems impossible, and plants have overgrown almost everything.]

[On the statue's pedestal is an inscription:
Three tribes that brought a storm,
Winter brought them to task.
Eventually things would become warm,
What in return did springtime ask?]

[Not so far beyond it appears to be stairs leading down into the earth. And to the side of that is a throne.]

[And on the throne is....someone new in Senna colors? Though perhaps the hair is enough of a give away. Though those with a keen eye may yet notice she's still wearing her geode still, with the distinctive cutie mark still on it.]

[She's lounged across the throne, legs kicked over one side, elbow resting on the other, head in hand.]

I'm bored. [And she offers a grin that has a dangerous glint to it.]

And if I keep naming examples, you'll include them as 'power' and suddenly the word means everything and therefore nothing.

Well, it's true if someone is clever enough. Like I said, the power to overcome the obstacle, never said it had to be brute force.

A clear goal helps with knowing what problems you need to solve.

I would say you would be missing a clear understanding of the complex situation. I might have the goal of being the King of the Moon, which is clear enough, but that does not give me insights into what problems to solve to bring that goal about.

Depends on interpretation.

My wants and goals are straight forward enough. It doesn't mean I'm suddenly an idiot. Eyes on the destination instead of being sidetracked by the journey, but it's not like I'm going to ignore the cliff in the way.

Very few people think they are being an idiot in the moment. We've always been the idiot in hindsight.

But, if you will excuse me, Desdemona needs to discharge some chaos before she does so into me, and she can only turn so much of it into warmth safely.

I'm perfectly aware of the pitfall and dangers of my actions.

Including where Des would like to discharge the chaos, but I would definitely advise doing it elsewhere.

Don't worry. Demons killing people is prohibited. Though at the moment, the enforcement beyond me is not working if what Prince Cardamon says is correct.
