[The first memory is of an academic decathlon as the first event of the Friendship Games. There is her friends, but there is also Twilight Sparkle whose on the other team. Sunset keeps watching her like a hawk between fiercely competing. Twilight has done 'something' she's trying to figure out, but also winning is important to the school. Sadly Sunset loses. Luckily her friends are still supportive.]
[Then there's a talk with another Twilight. Who looks like the other. Except no glasses and does weird horse-human things. They talk and it's a little more obvious at a distance that they're both having the opposite problem, but reaching the same conclusion.]
[Then there's the Battle of the Bands. There is so much fighting and bickering, including amongst her friends. Sunset sees it all, but she never does anything about it. Until she has to tackle Rainbow Dash on stage to avoid exposing her magic. Which is behavior apparently EVERYONE expects of Sunset Shimmer and her friends seem to have doubts to her intentions. It's Very Rough.]

[Oh, she's watching memories.
[The awkwardness and out-of-placeness and insecurity pings him hard in bad ways. The heckling in that last memory hits especially hard.
[Come to think of it, he doesn't really need to talk to her that urgently. It can wait until she's processed the new memories and he's beaten down his own feelings.]

[SO HARD]
[To be a better person, to do what people want, and it still falls flat.]

High schoolers can be punks, but they'll get over it. They'll find something else to be mad at later. And it looks like those other girls are messing with their heads anyway.

I know they're trying to do something bad. I spoke with them before.

[Though she's looking at the screen with a frown.]
She was holding her hands curled up....

[He's overwhelmed once again at how vibrant Solar's world seems. It stirs something visceral inside him, something envious and dark, but also wondrous and awed. How nice it must be, to have memories of such a beautiful place full of beautiful people. Only one beautiful person seems to have all of Solar's attention, however...]
... You seem very intent on that one girl. The purple one.

[She's still staring at the screen.] But all that...it seems like she can't be Princess Twilight. And those women...they sounded and looked kind of like Princess Celestia and Luna.
So there's dimensional counterparts. That's probably part of my interest. She's a counterpart of a friend of mine in Equestria.

Everyone here seems to know royalty! How very lucky you must be back home.
I don’t think I fully understand how that could work. Is it possible for there to be more than one you? Or more than one me?
[Hmm... nope! He doesn’t like that idea.]

The fact I don't know what she did probably means it was strange and hard to describe. And if this is around when we first met her...she may not even know what it is. Magic isn't native to Earth.
I'm very talented and hardworking. I know them because I was Princess Celestia's student.
In a sense. Two of those judges, they looked and sounded an awful lot like Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. And then there's Twilight herself. I can't speak for the other two, but it's like...
There's the same 'base,' that reacts to their lives. Princess Twilight and Twilight are both incredibly smart, a little prone to freaking out, and very willing to help.
But this human Twilight, it's obvious she's a lot more meek, and less comfortable in herself than Princess Twilight. Which makes sense. A Princess has to learn to be confident and more self assured than a schoolgirl.
