INTROS + MONTHLIES
Who: Everyone
When: Day 60, evening
Where: the Aurora
[The Candy Hearts are gone-- or at least, they're no longer all over the place. If you kept a few for your own purposes then well, feel free to enjoy yourself. Live your best life!
Though you may have just got out of a Trial recently, there is the sound of an announcement on your Chain: ]
[And indeed, there is another round of newbies waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.
"Someone" has seen to bring refreshments to greet the newbies. It's sparkling water, refreshingly cool and surprisngly sugar-free considering the surroundings. If you choose to drink it, you will find yourself instantly refreshed, almost as if you'd gotten a full day's rest. You will also find that the very next thing you say to someone is a mildly inconvenient truth. It cannot and will not compel you to tell someone your deep, dark secrets but it MIGHT compel you to admit you forgot to brush your teeth this morning....
Have fun and enjoy meeting your new people! ]
[[OOC NOTES: As the monthly prompt, the sparkling water will continue until next month's placements. If you have any questions, please ping the mods via the q&a. Thank you!]]

I've had to make due with others, I didn't drop it entirely. But once I got my orbal gun back, it wasn't as necessary.
[She'd naturally gravitated back to what she was best at. Although she knows that's pretty sloppy of her.
When he mentions her last memories though, she gets a bit quieter.]
Right... well. After we were free to go home from Perdurance, I went back and properly accepted a position at the Branch Campus. But that was months ago. Since then, things at home have been... difficult. But I was ushered into the castle, where I was kept safe after the twilight started. It was during my time there that I was recruited and brought aboard the Aurora.
[...sure doesn't include any knowledge of your second round of fun with Ecthroi though.]

That's actually not really what he was expecting at all? His first thought was memories, but she all but seemed to confirm that she hadn't lost them. So she was somehow ripped from an earlier time somehow...? So she's a Towa that he knew, but effectively did not experience or gain knowledge of certain things.
Honestly, it's good he found this out now rather than later...considering what uh, happened when they had met each other again back in the Hall. Though, it's kind of annoying him on principle. ]
Good thing everything's worked out for you so far, then. Would've been a pain if you were pulled into another one of those annoying 'games'.
[ That's not why he asked, though it's true that he'd think it'd have been irritating if it'd happened, but luckily it seems the timelines didn't diverge that much—all the same it's just enough to make significant difference. ]
Guessing you don't know about the other 'game' that wasn't on a train, then.

[Well she had learned about the existence of other, unrelated yet similar "games" through her former teammate Inaba, the other had been entirely certain that there wasn't any connection between the two. Even so, she dreaded to think that another might have affected him, regardless of connection or not.]
I've heard that other games like the one that we survived exist. But I don't know much about them. The only one I really know about is the one we survived.
[He wouldn't just bring it up for nothing though-- that's not McBurn. But if she didn't know did that mean he was targeted when she was back home safe without her knowledge...?]
...don't tell me...
[By which she absolutely means spill it. What the heck happened??]

[ He's not going to sugar coat it, because why would he? ]
Somehow we managed to get pulled another killing game. Kind of was a real big pain this time too; was pretty much a good thing you weren't there.
Instead of on a train was in this world and some city I don't care to remember the name of...if there was name at all.
[ It meant for the most part he could just not have to worry too much about her. Because yeah, he did care about what happened with her. Though, Vita was there, but eh he'll get there in his explanation or maybe they won't because McBurn and explanations could be kind of touch and go. ]
