Though you may have just got out of a Trial recently, there is the sound of an announcement on your Chain: ]

WELCOME NEW HEROES

[And indeed, there is another round of newbies waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.

"Someone" has seen to bring refreshments to greet the newbies. It's sparkling water, refreshingly cool and surprisngly sugar-free considering the surroundings. If you choose to drink it, you will find yourself instantly refreshed, almost as if you'd gotten a full day's rest. You will also find that the very next thing you say to someone is a mildly inconvenient truth. It cannot and will not compel you to tell someone your deep, dark secrets but it MIGHT compel you to admit you forgot to brush your teeth this morning....

You usually get kidnapped by trains?

Been twice before now I've gotten myself kidnapped by someone runnin' some kind of train. It's annoying as all hell.

Supposedly it looks like there's a good reason for it this time, but can't say I'm about to just eat up everything this "Prince" yapped about.

Don't really know the guy yet to even think about bothering to put my trust in him.

You actually met him?

Oh yeah. He comes and hangs out with us every now and then.

Guess I'll see what he's like sooner or later and what else he's capable of.

[ Oh look at that, some stranger offered his hand. He supposed he could just go ahead and shake it. Or he could see if he's going to get an interesting reaction by doing something else instead. ]

...What're you holdin' your hand out for? Could be dangerous, being so friendly to someone you just met.

I can deal with danger. Besides, we're all in this together.

Seems like the universe can't ever stop being in trouble all the time, though. It's kind of a pain.
