I have. Well, my top one, anyway. A few other ideas, depends on 80H's ability.

[Except then she reaches into her bag with her hoof and pulls out a book and is somehow grasping it. With a hoof. And holding it out to her.]

The telekinesis really isn't anything special. Any unicorn can do that.

[Hooves are magic. Was just a touch easier to take than a hand.]

It's special to me! I didn't have any magic until I got my pendant; I don't think it existed at all back in my world.

But magic artifacts don't come from nowhere. Usually artifacts are just made to make a power usable on a consistent basis, or to strengthen a weaker magic by stocking it up.

Maybe somebody gave magic to me...? [ That sounds like a thing that could happen ... ]

It's possible. That is one of the reasons to make artifacts.

Does he now? That does narrow down what's going on. Usually when there are matching artifacts, it's because powers are used in tandem, grand relics, family heirlooms, or a kind of organization. Though grand relic is unlikely, those usually have a more ostentatious design.

Hm, it's not a tandem thing ...

Guess we'll have to find out with our memories. It's one of many, many mysteries.

I mean, is it fire magic, is it healing magic, what's it common theme?

Uhhh. [ That's a very good question. ] There is a healing spell? Heal, shield, teleport, magic drain, time ... that kind of thing.

It sounds mostly like defensive magic though...

Oh, it's not like time travel or anything! It's for slowing things down and speeding them up.

Defensive sounds about right.

Ah, okay. Yeah, that sounds in line with defensive.

Which certainly sounds more like a group. Some kind of peacekeepers or wandering defenders.
