All ponies are magical. Unicorns are just the ones who can actually manipulate their magic. Earth ponies and Pegasi magic relies on things reacting to their interactions with nature or it influences their physical bodies. Earth ponies get stronger easier, Pegasi can fly, etc.

But the unicorn horn allows for the ability to manipulate magic into spells. With study. Any unicorn can figure out levitation and whatever their special talent comes as second nature, but anything beyond that takes learning the numbers and emotions necessary to get it to do what you want.

I never realized there were so many kinds of ponies... Or that unicorns could read. Sounds like a lot of work either way. Sucks to lose all that here.

Of course unicorns can read! [Looks offended at that.] Reading and writing is necessary after a certain point in civilization. Certainly by the time you're building home with floors, you have to have numbers and numbers aren't far from written word at all.

I get that. It's just... where I come from, unicorns are kind of more like horses. But uh magical? They're also not real. So your world is a lot different. It's kind of a lot to take in, sorry.

Ponies. I'm a pony unicorn. Horses are from Saddle Arabia.

And in my world, humans don't exist. Plenty of other creatures, but no humans.

Oh! So you do have horses too. Are they still bigger than ponies in your world?

That's so weird. But I guess fair's fair. If you can't exist in my world, makes sense I can't exist in yours.

Yes. Almost as big as Celestia and she's an alicorn over a thousand years old. There's some old mares tale about it, I think.

Hm. True. [Her arms are wrapped around herself, looking down at the toy guns.]

Celestia. With a name like that, she's got to be pretty impressive.

They're filled with water so all you need to do is pull the trigger like this.

Oh definitely. Even if...I can't remember anything that sounds more real than a fairy tale. [Frowning.]

[Taking the gun, looking it over.] That must take some delicate work to keep up proper pressure.

You remember more about people from your world than I remember about people from mine.

Nah, you only squeeze it when you're firing it and that should be quick because people are going to be shooting at you at the same time.

Well, I mean, she moves the Sun and the Moon. That's just general knowledge. I couldn't tell you other princesses names or if there's even other ones at all, besides the one sealed in the Moon and that might be a story.

I meant for the inner mechanisms. Or very, very closely fitting parts.
