[Welcome to yet another hot morning. Still looking for ways to beat the heat? Still trying to get that glitter out of your hair?]

[Well, the train provides. Namely in there being an assortment of water guns scattered about. Sometimes plain to see on the tables, other times hidden in weird spots. Some lucky person may even find some balloons that can be filled with water.]

[Someone just straight up slept in the library, woken up with wild hair and still no shoes, and hasn't eaten since she woke up. Which is why now she's in the public kitchen, raiding the fridge of pizza leftover from the movie night a few days ago.]

[With her looking through the boxes with an unsure face at most until she pulls out some cheese pizza to eat in the lounge.]

[Noticing a water pistol after she sat, picking it up to look it over in confusion.]

~~Water~~ What are these for?

[She's never needed a water gun before to soak someone before so she is confused. and since she is confused, she starts to take it apart, laying the pieces out on the table.]

Hmm...

[You know]

[He knows better]

[He absolutely knows better]

[But he is very curious to see what she'd do and hey, getting soaked isn't so bad in this heat]

[He's already pretty sure on the trajectory and range and so gonna fire at 80H from the max distance he can do with the water gun.]

[Which isn't terribly far, but every little inch is gonna count, he's sure.]

[Water guns don't have a lot of range, but far be it for Dusk to not have fun with toy firearms anyway. He's good at trajectories, he can arc the water some to get a bit farther.]

[So just gonna hide around and try to surprise people.]

[Around corners, under furniture, maybe outside in a tree.]

[All in good fun, of course.]

[she gets hit!

but that is because she knew water was headed her direction and she didn't mind getting wet. it's hard to tell that at a glance though so she might just look like some idiot who got hit with an unsuspecting attack.]

Ah, so they are for shooting water, then? Ingenious, I must say.

[she says, as water drips down her person]

[He's pretty sure it's not the idiot part.]

[He's stuck between her letting it happen, or her just not being bothered by water. Those seem more likely.]

Yeah. Had these things around centuries back home. Just something a little more fun when the shooting toy has consequences that last a while.

I see.

[she reassembles the gun.]

Is this a competition of some kind?

I think it's just the train being the train.

But water wars are common. As for who wins...eh, it depends. Usually most fights end with everyone soaked through so I guess the winner would be whoever doesn't give up first?

I see. How shall we begin. Or rather, I suppose you've already drawn first blood, have you not?

[yeah she is gonna destroy him now]

[ Unfortunately for Dusk, the hunter sometimes become the hunted … ]

[ And Faito is surprisingly good at sneaking. You just have to be patient, quiet, and, most importantly of all, unobtrusive. Excellent tippy-toe action helps. She doesn’t try to get too close, either — she can make up for the lack of range with physics. ]

[ So while Dusk lays in wait, poised to shoot at the next person to come around the corner, Faito lines up to shoot him in the back, tongue between her teeth. Three, two, one … ]

[ FIIIIIIIIIRE ]

[ … or, you know. WATEEEEEEEEEEEER. ]

[He's accepted his fate, but he can at least make it not be a cake walk.]

That I have. [Said as he quickly raises up the gun to fire again.]

[There is that creeping feeling. A feeling of being watched. That's what he notices, but as he starts to turn and check his back, he feels it.]

[The splash of water, jerking forward at the sudden cold.]

[He whips around then and see Faito.]

....you little sneak.

[Then he grins wickedly.]

Let's see if you can keep it up.

[And returning fire as he moves away from the wall. Time to find cover.]

[ Time to pick methodically through the water guns instead of his usual reckless grabbing. He tests the weight of various ones and how responsive their respective triggers seem to be before finally settling on a larger one he can rest on his shoulder and smaller one, he can hide in the hem of his pants ]

[She's gonna duck and dodge for cover, empty gun in hand.]

[ Well, SOMEBODY is dual-wielding water pistols and firing indiscriminately and anyone and everyone, regardless of who they are.

So.

ENJOY?? ]

[He's sure it won't be empty long, but he's gonna move for cover himself.]

[Looking around a table to see if he can spot where she's coming from.]

[SHE ISN'T THERE ODDLY ENOUGH.]

[it's a hit!

80H isn't dual-wielding, but she is packing various guns strapped to her person and has gotten changed into a familiar bikini at some point.

She's about to return fire, but she realises it's Crow and she--]

Ah--

[ It isn't that Crow isn't still frustrated and annoyed by their last conversation-- he is-- but she's left such a perfect opening and honestly, who is he to ignore such a perfectly good opening?

And she has to know he's a good enough shot that hitting her square on the breasts, soaking that bikini top, was on purpose. ]

Kyah--

[She isn't expecting that and she's embarrassed, but she recovers quickly, returning fire before somersaulting out of the way to duck for cover.]

[ The startled reaction is perfect and he manages to dodge her initial return volley but definitely misses as she somersaults away when he tries to fire away. He finds some cover of his own, looking out for a good angle to try shooting at her again. ]

Who duel-wields water guns?

I dual-wield regular guns, why wouldn't I do the same for the watery kind?

It's not sneaking, it's strategy!
