You can add more seasonings but it should be fine as is.

No, no. I'm not actually equipped for too much spice.

[You go from MRE to limited supplies, to finally normal food, it takes a while to handle spice again.]

Not that I know of, just been in Ginger cooking. Unless you want to hear graphic descriptions of Leonnie's big big eyes and sad sad tail wag of tragic tragedy, as far as I know it's been quiet in your few hours of sleep. No trains catching on fire.

Oh good. With how things have been going, I wouldn't be surprised if something happened.

I'm sure you'll get a chance to meet her. And yeah, she's well behaved but, well. A dog, and there was food.

[He's watching trying not to look like he's paying a lot of attention! He wants people to like his food... Which is, well, he was good at hotpot when he was twenty, with five hundred plus extra years of cooking under his belt, he is very, very good at cooking a pleasing hotpot.]

[He's nodding because yes, dogs and food.]

I can teach you if you want. Hotpot is actually pretty simple when you've done it once.

....it'd probably be good to figure out if I can cook.

Eight... jeez.

And yeah. Unless I'm out of energy, I just meditate when everyone else sleeps. Or read or walk around. Or practice sword forms or other things.

I'm only really meant to awaken in times of great historical upheaval. Mostly that means war. I'm not that useful if I need sleep when my awakener requires me. And I do sleep for up to a few hundred years at a time.

That is a far point. Who knows how long you'd need to be awake for a battle in a war. Kind of lucky you can have like....the opposite of sleep debt.

Thought of buying a room upgrade? Or two?

And yeah. I don't... actually remember what it's like to be sleepy, though I do still know what lack of energy or exhaustion feel like.
