[ The beach fades away all at once, taking the cheery sunshine with it as evening hits all at once-- it melts away in a shower of sparkles as the familiar setting re-emerges. There are new stars in the sky above in clover pink, senna red, jasmine blue, and licorice violet.

Just before the beach disappears entirely, the bubbly voice speaks once more: ]

Wasn't that so much fun! You all rrrrrreally got to know each other, didn't you? Keep up the good work~!

[ If you had any alcohol in hand you still have it, otherwise everything from the trial is gone. ]

[Okay but actually the uh, sudden alarming switch to kill bill sirens aside that's really... almost endearing? Alarming and unhinged but demon fumes aren't great for anyone's sanity. So also endearing.]

[He lifts the hand not being gently shoulder clawed and puts it on Cael's head? Can he do that? Gently just, head pat. And leaves his hand there warmly.]

Sometimes I'm an idiot, so I can't promise never to hurt him. But I'll do my best to make him happy.

[He's lost all track of what's going on because what's going on? This feels like reading the first chapter of the first book and then diving in at chapter 30 on the sixteenth book and he has no idea why we're now on mars and who are all these new characters.

Oh well he'll just headpat some more in confusion.]
