When: day 30, midnight to dawn
Where: the train

[At precisely midnight a clock bell tolls, loud and mournful in the quiet night. An owl screeches, the dramatic chords of an organ start to play then are cut short in a jangle of notes.

If you're awake a hoarse voice growls, it might wake you even if you're asleep.]

Arise, heroes, and sate your hunger.

[Those not sleeping through all this will find a sudden spike in their primal urges. The needs of any form they possess may overcome reason, and the desire to slake thirsts both literal and metaphorical is intense.

If you're a wolf perhaps you want to hunt or draw close to your pack, if your taste is in blood, well. If you're just human it might be that your darker desires, possessiveness or even curiosity get the better of you in ways you don't normally let them. Desires need not be violent or sexually charged, but should be things your characters harbor at least some inclination towards wanting even if they deny it usually. Fluffy desires are still desires.

By morning light the effects will fade. And you'll all feel far less tired than you'd expect for a night partying.]

[Oh. He's visibly surprised. Considering where his mouth has been. But he kisses back after that moment.]

[ You'd think that would bother him but not really. It's his dick, he knows where it's been. He eventually pulls away after a lingering moment. ]

Stole that kiss, too. Next I'll be stealing~ your~ heart~

Is that your goal?

[He's a little flushed after that kiss admittedly.]

I wouldn't call it set in stone. But it does seem like it'd be worth the effort.

[ There's a lot he's not saying there, but the underlying fondness for Rean is very real. ]

[Rean laughs a little. Fondly! But not voicing his thought that Crow could aim higher and do much better than Rean.]

I'm sure if you set your mind to it you could do anything.

[ Crow might argue that's not Rean's place to decide, but emotional bonds don't convey precise words so he doesn't. ]

I'd like to think you're right about that.

[ They should probably get going but Crow's still feeling content enough to not want to get up and walk all the way back to the train yet. ]

[Rean knows at least enough not to be self deprecating vocally here. He also doesn't know how to flirt back, when he isn't aware of the extent of his own feelings. He is sitting up and holding Crow against his chest though.]

Come on. Let's get our clothes back in order.

[ Feelings are complicated and Crow can relate to that much. ]

Mmm, you're probably right. But first--

[ He's kissing Rean again. He absolutely cannot be blamed for Rean being very kissable, it's just facts. ]

[Rean kisses back very enthusiastically. His fingers settling on the back of Crow's neck, tangling in his hair as he wraps his other arm around Crow's waist.]

[ Crow makes a pleased sound into Rean's mouth as he slides his hands onto Rean's hips, tasting Rean's mouth every bit as eagerly as he had been before. There's still a bit of the salty taste of himself in Rean's mouth but that really doesn't bother him in the slightest. ]

[It's thrilling to have Crow on his lap kissing him breathless like this. But the woods at night isn't a good place or time to get too wrapped up in Crow twice in a row. Reluctantly he breaks the kiss, breathing a little heavily.]

[ The only reason Crow doesn't chase him for more of that is objectively he knows that it's not a good place or time too, even if he doesn't like that fact. So it's every bit as reluctantly that he stands up and holds a hand out to Rean to help him up. ]

Let's head back to the train.

[He takes the hand up! And fixes his pants before considering. They could walk back but he does have a bit of excess energy now and it might be fun to show off. So he takes Crow's hand without a word, and the scenery shifts around them, from dark forest to the train.]
