[80H is in the common area, making food. She's taken off her bandages, and her elbows look entirely fine, like they weren't shot at. The knees might be okay to assume the same of, but they are, naturally, hidden. She hasn't been out much since the trial, or even before it, honestly, but she's been doubling down on her isolated tendencies. She had to talk to one of their newbies but, after that, it was back to being a hermit.

So it is, perhaps, odd to see her out and about making food, and, what's more, it does not seem to be all for her.]

Of course, but our day-to-day activities count as well, don't they? And perhaps our performance in trials could benefit from stronger familiarity outside crisis situations. "Bonding," you know.

I can act more effectively if I am aware of what people are or are not willing to do.

That's a little broad. And varies, doesn't it? Depending on context, trust, other factors. I feel that we would all best be able to predict, understand and communicate with each other during trials if that wasn't the only time we saw each other.

If you say so. Regardless, I was just curious if you'd purposely decided to opt out of our only real advantage in working toward our goals here, but it seems as if you just haven't thought about it as such?

To be frank, I am absolutely garbage at people, and so am not suited to most bonding exercises.

All the same, though, I think you and I are on the same page that the trials will often ask us all to do awful things that we disagree upon? And I believe that we may able to get through those situations without being at each other's throats more easily if we have some baseline familiarity and, perhaps, respect for each other. "Trust" seems foolish to hope for, but at least that?

[she doesn't think fighting and dying is that bad but you know what, you do you, teams.]

...Light food. Meat is fine, but lots of vegetables are nice.

What would you like to see in an upgraded kitchen?

gas ranges, a separate oven, granite counter tops, dishwasher, with one island featuring a sink and breakfast bar combination with another sink elsewhere, excellent lighting, large fridge and separate freezer, hanging pot rack, a pantry.

[she doesn't hesitate on any of it, almost like she was thinking about it.]

A wine dispenser.

The amount depends on the amount of people who can and will cook.

Alcohol is a bad habit. You've put a lot of thought into this. Were you a professional, or just a serious home cook?

Anything can be a bad habit. Red wine in moderation has benefits. And, no, I am not a professional. I simply enjoy cooking and being of use. [a beat.]

I left out mentions of dishes, good china, and cutlery. I would think these would be included, but I trust nothing. Carbon steel blades for cooking would best. [she tilts her head.] Unless we could acquire modified obsidian.

If we choose to upgrade it, you can certainly be in charge of design and equipment. Personally, I'd like a preparation surface that was my height. A rolling table, maybe. Just gathering ingredients to put on the counter takes me twice as long as anyone else for having to get up and down those step-stools.

You may have whatever you wish. It would be a communal area.

I do not know if I would expressly have to draw up a blueprint, but it should be easy enough to conceive of everything simply compressing down to your level to make it more accessible. Like...

[Instead of explaining further, water appears and gathers, taking form. there is a coral sized figure of water standing in front of an oven that is too high for her before she snaps her fingers and it seamlessly moves down for her so that she is able to reach it. The water shifts and makes something new: a kitchen island simply, quickly becoming shorter to accommodate her]

Perhaps something like this. Make it work for you instead of the opposite. Or you can simply have your own designated space.

Do you think that would be possible to ask for? Clearly magic is something in this world, and it would be possible with engineering as well, but only if we didn't use the spaces underneath as storage. That would certainly be worthwhile.
