[ The ground rumbles and shakes - and then opens up. The earth swallows you whole, leaving you in front of . . . blobs . . . Oh they're a little cute, aren't they?

But the world is a bit dark, isn't it? It's a little scary . . . isn't it? ]

[Staying away from the blobs warily.]

[ but they're so cute jusis don't you want to touch them

[Maybe he'll poke one with a sheathed sword.]

[ hey! it does look attentive to that, and so do a few other blobs. they collect together, looking to his sword, and cling onto the sheath - as if melting around it. ]

[Uh no bad. Rapidly shaking his sheath to try to get them off it.]

[ it just seems to climb more and more on your sword, clinging more tightly and . . . growing bigger, as more blobs get attracted . . . ]

[Fuck-- trying to get the sheath off before they devour his sword.]

[ the sheath comes off with it - the blobs have claimed it as their own, and they start swarming around it like scavengers, trying to claim it as their own - the conglomerate has grown to be about the size of a small person now, or maybe a big dog. ]

[He's gonna try to go int he opposite direction.]

[ there's the sounds of something in the distance - "eatmaface" - "donplanto" - some other noises, but the one closest to you is:

"Going somewhere?"

it's much more sophisticated, different than the other distant noises. it sounds familiar. ]
