[ This fine afternoon, the ChainChat app’s global room is getting a somewhat lengthy message: ]
Elaine: Good morning. I pray that each of you has come to find your bearings safely; further still it is my hope that this message finds you well.
The impetus for our entry into this place, as you have gathered in the time since, is the salvation of this planet, and from beyond that point any number of other worlds - our own included. Be that as it may, it is in its conceit regardless quite the cause for concern. That we alone were salvaged among our worlds - our lovers, friends, and family - is itself concerning, and further still, that we would persist here with naught but the train’s functions as guidance, the figure responsible for this predicament notably quite absent, is a marked inconvenience. How is it, one may ask, that we be saddled with this task when even our own commander is nowhere to be found, relegated solely to a fragmented recording? For what reason, I would ask you, must we do so? What is there for us to do?
The answer, my friends - my comrades - is fortunately a simple one. It is as has been said; we may see these places restored through the means of our positive emotions - through the strength of our bonds. Time alone shall confirm the full veracity of the Star Prince’s claims - what happens to this world in the future, and where it is that we move from that point forward - it is, however, a demonstrable fact that our collaboration is to be rewarded. You may note the trials, wherein we receive reward independent of our victory, or the fluctuation of our currencies when participating in the displays of intimacy designated to us.
We may say that we receive rewards dependent upon our bonds. We may say that we are needed. And to that very end - however our circumstances are certainly cause for alarm, through our combined efforts - through the strength of our bonds - there is nothing to fear.
Elaine: I shall swear it upon my own name. To see us each through this place - I shall put forth my greatest efforts to that end.
And to the end of this all, my team and I have organized a meeting within this train’s commons. It is best spoken of, rather, as a party - we’ve set out food as well as drinks for everyone’s enjoyment; were you to join us, and greater still find enjoyment in this experience alongside our comrades, we each would be greatly appreciative.

True to the message, anyone coming to the lounge carriage past a certain time today will find it decked out in the cutest, gaudiest decorations. All wintery; red and green baubles, rows and rows of paper snowflakes, sprigs of holly and mistletoe, and.
Oh dear.
Frankly, an obscene amount of glitter. Decorating everything. Everywhere. Ostensibly, some of it is supposed to be snow, and some of it is supposed to be miscellaneous sparkly decoration, but there might be a few splotches of other colors mixed in there, salvaged from the bubble fiasco just the other day... be careful...
Anyway, laid out on some tables are some pots and pans, with bowls and cups: warm curry, rice, and soup; hot chocolate, bottles of water, and bottles of wine.
It is in fact a party! Party! ]
