[ I hope everyone likes waking up to the smell of burnt toast because that's what's happening this morning. Wandering down to the team kitchen area will reveal a small stack of varying degrees of burnt toast and this young man... in the process of burning more via frying it on a pan. ]

[ At least he's chipper. ]

Good morning! I made breakfast and now have a name I would like to introduce myself by.

[ It only took him less than a week, this is progress. ]

Justice? Did he poison you first?

—No? Why would he have poisoned us?

That's what happened the last time. This lady poisoned us and then told us we had to supply the antidote, or else.

There was no poison. There were a lot of hypothetical scenarios about justice. We were in a group with a whole bunch of us. Ah, and we talked things through in a fairly reasonable way until the very last round.

[ uh-oh. ]

What happened in the very last round?

[dragonblooming]

In the very last round -- well, let me back up a little for context. The first two scenarios were 'a monster has been attacking your people, and you have captured a monster, but you're not sure if it's the same monster', and 'a man has been killed in a mugging, and the perpetrator insists it's an accident, but the family of the victim is calling for his death', and in both cases the group decided to investigate further, not to make any rash decisions, to be absolutely sure of innocence or guilt before proceeding further. The third scenario was, 'because you have executed an enemy leader, your town is under attack. the enemies will leave if you allow yourself to be killed. walk through this mirror if you are willing to die for your people'. Two people volunteered immediately, without discussion, and one of them immediately began to try to 'sacrifice' himself, despite the rest of the group telling him to wait so they could discuss. In an attempt to stop him from charging through the mirror, I knocked it over. It broke, and the glass dome we were in for the duration of the game shattered. No one was killed, but we all suffered mild lacerations from the broken glass.

You broke the mirror!? Did you know... that's what would happen?

No, of course not. Nothing else we had done or decided in the previous rounds had affected anything in any way.

[ Well, she can't really fault him for that, then... ]

How did everyone else take it?

[dragonblooming]

They were annoyed with me. They think I am short-sighted, impulsive and rash. But I do not think they are truly angry.

[ i'm sure there's no one else like that on this te, ] It's fine. You did your best. Next time, though, let's try to communicate with everyone else first. Okay? [ here, have a headpat ]

[ well, ok ] [ his hair is pretty soft. it's not all plants. weird ] Yes, well, if time allows... the reason I knocked the mirror over was almost entirely because we hadn't had time to communicate before people were rushing for self-sacrifice.

That's true. I suppose it wasn't just our group who wasn't on their best behavior.

If I had realized breaking the mirror would have instantly ended the round and all chance at discussion I would have just. Turned it around maybe. Grabbed it and ran around.

That would have made quite the sight!

It was taller than I am, but I still would have done it...

Well, maybe it's better that you didn't. You might hurt yourself that way.

Has anyone looked at your cuts?

Ah... yes, someone helped heal them.

We have a doctor here? I didn't know medicine could work that fast...!

It was ah... healing magic, I think?
