Who: Felix & Thyme
When: Day 57, evening

Felix hasn't been spending much time in the carriage since their arrival on the new Prism. But he's here tonight in the living room, bent over a large sketchpad and sketching extremely slowly (and not with great talent). He's no artist but it's fairly obvious that his subject is a young woman with hair down to her waist. His own hair has been done up in a messy bun to keep it out of his face while he works.

Next to him on the couch is a white box secured with a Thyme green ribbon.

Should anyone pass by, he'll half-raise his gaze in acknowledgement.

"So, uh, we need have a talk..."

Sorry, Solar Flare. She apparently talked to... another me. Only he's not me. He's someone else. It was kind of confusing.

I think I've spoken to him as well. I wasn't sure, and then I didn't know how to bring it up.

I have some memories of body swaps. It's considered forbidden magic where I'm from. Well, except by a species that demands the rest of us keep it forbidden.

But it was a swap, not an overwrite. What happens to your mind when the other one is running your body?

Not their head specifically, but a view of their self. Or my self as the case may be. But one of the memories I have was using it on... someone who had swapped her mind into a human's body, and I could tell that her mind wasn't a human one.

... I don't know if this one is human either. Then again, I know I'm not human.

We're human, just a sort that can look very different as we age. We can have children with the more typical around here sorts of humans, and they might take after either parent.
