[A gentle breeze keeps the afternoon cool. It seems peaceful around now, with the malice pushed back so far, unless you're heading to the island of concentrated malice of course.

It's a good day to relax and daydream.

Distantly you might sometimes hear the tick ticking of clockwork? Or it might be your imagination.

Speaking of imagination, if you think about things too hard you may find your thoughts and feelings shared with those nearby. Or even if you don't think hard at all.

At the mildest this might simply be like your thoughts and emotions being understood by others next to you, either in a vague or explicitly detailed way, but at the most extreme you might project shared delusions. Something like others getting to watch your own memories. Or fantasy sequences. Or inner monologues. Or maybe even blending you delusions with another's.

Whether it goes that far or remains a more telepathic/empathic thing is very random.]

[ Crow has made his way to the beach where he's sitting near the water, just out of reach of the ebb and flow of the water. His eyes are closed and he's just letting himself quietly enjoy the breeze. For all appearances, it seems like he's lost in thought-- that he might not even notice his surroundings. ]

[Pretty deliberately making noise in the sand as he walks over.]

Hey.

[ Crow smiles and lifts his hand to wave, though he doesn't open his eyes. ]

Hey Rean. What's up?

Not much. Enjoying the breeze. You?

Same here. Seems like a good day to spend outdoors.

[Dusk has some new pants and ahoody. He can go with the pink, but he'd like more comfort than overalls can provide.]

[He's walking along the outside of the forest, taking a look at the plants and watching some of the animals. Just taking stock of what all's around.]

[Oh, there's Crow. He's been looking for him.]

[Approaching in new pink hoody and pink camo pants.]

[ He doesn't open his eyes but he does lift his hand and wave slightly. ]

Hey, Dusk. What's up?

[ His tone is breezy, cheerful. ]

I like the look.

[It definitely suits Dusk better than overalls.]

Yeah. It's really nice out. Mind if I join you?

Mostly checking on you since you did kind of go....berserk the other day.

[He looks up and smiles.] Thanks.

It feels a lot more comfortable. Also, more pockets.

[ He opens one eye and glances over at him. ]

Of course, I'm always up for your company.

[Concern and moving to sit down beside him.]

They're the best. Especially deep ones.

[He can store so many things.]

[ He waves around dismissively. ]

Oh, I remember everything just fine. I just don't really know who everyone was. It turns out hallucinating is a real pain in the ass.

Usually, but it has the benefit of being true.

Sure am! It's okay, I know now that I shouldn't shoot any monsters if they happen to be wandering around on the train.

[ Not that he has his guns, but like hell is he willing to admit that readily. ]

I don't know when it's magic, but it's possible to check if something is a hallucination or not by taking a photo of it. Chances are good it won't look the same. And you can send the picture to someone else if you're really uncertain.

Oh, I know about the camera.

[ He winks in Dusk's general direction. ]

That's a good use for it, though. I hadn't thought of that.

Oh do you now? [Now that's interesting.]

Probably comes up sometimes if I suffer sleep deprivation as much as Rean fears. [That mother hen.] Recordings, seeing if all other senses are responding the same, and second opinions are the best way to tell if they're real or not.
