Who: Kiryuu and ANYONE
When: Day 19, Morning
Where: Licorice Cabin and into the Lounge Car/Dining Area

[ Kiryuu has been gone for just under a week, which... is probably alarming, but maybe not as alarming as when he comes out, demonic tail lashing anda sort of feral look on his face. He's not looking to talk, and he starts lurching toward the nearest person as soon as he sees them.

He starts out in Licorice's car but he's kinda slow to start, so he might have made it out! Either way, he begins to get a little better after a bite and can be found laying on the floor in the dining car, probably a little bloodier than anyone has a rightto be when there isn't a trauma game. ]

[ CW: Possible Cannibalism and Violence! ]

[ Kiryuu doesn't seem to be responding to words, just getting frustrated that this person isn't as easy to catch as he'd hoped.

And so he growls again, pushing forth his last bit of strength to change shape, taking on a more demonic look and then pouncing forward with determination. ]

[ Sunshine seems to freeze at that appearance shift, as his eyes adopt a strange golden sheen. When Kiryuu comes at him again, this time he takes a swipe with his extended claws. ]

[ He's very much not prepared to get into a legitimate fight when he is counterattacked, and takes the blow without so much as trying to dodge, stumbling back and extending his own pair of wings... just to stabilize himself.

It's plain to see that he's shaky on his feet, and he takes a few more slow steps back wards before attempting to run away, bolting to a side as if he could get around the other guy. ]

[ When he attempts to run, Felix slashes at him again and spreads his wings as if intending to pursue ]

[ When he's slashed again, he stumbles and falls to the ground writhing like an injured animal and wailing. Instead of fighting or even getting back to his feet, he starts attempting to crawl away, hoping not to be cornered. ]

[ Except Felix doesn't let up, jerking his hand upward and summoning a cluster of very sharp dark ice spikes from the ground where Kiryuu lies. If they touch, they both burn and freeze simultaneously but more worrying is the way they taint one's strength and seem to drain it away like a lethargic sickness ]

[ Kiryuu is still just crawling along when the ice spikes rise from the ground, and if he can't avoid being slashed while on his feet, he can avoid these while on his knees even less, and he's more or less impaled, letting out a wail at the sudden pain.

The struggle to free himself is brief and mostly consists of flapping his wings and whipping his tail uselessly before the lethargy sets in, his demonic form drooping before being consumed with blue flames which burn him away until he's back to his usual shape. ]

[from behind Felix:]

What in the blazes is going on here!?

[ Felix is just about to call forth even more ice spikes, but whirls around, claws spread at the sound behind him. He utters a guttural snarl. ]

[ For Kiryuu's part... he's done, thankfully(?). Hungry and lethargic, he's going to remain on the floor where he was left, groaning in pain. ]

[flinches back, startled or frightened— before stepping forward and SLAPPING him]

Back off, Felix!

[ Seems startled for a moment and then immediately tries to throw her to the side with a wing ]

Don't interfere.

[she ducks back to avoid the arm of his wing, but then she's stomping right back into his space, jabbing her finger at his chest for emphasis]

Absolutely not! Sit down, shut up, and explain where exactly you get off attacking that poor boy!

Where's your loyalty? Get out of my way so I can finish this murderous wretch. I will not ask again.

No! Neither of you gets to murder today!

That's not your decision.

[ Calls forth more ice spikes around them ]

[shoving past to stand between him and kiryuu]

I am making it my decision! We're trying to save the world here, and you're being as bad as everything out there right now! He's defenseless, you already won, you jerk!

I'm not giving him the chance to become dangerous again!

[ Grabbing for her with his claws ]

[raises her hand warningly, she WILL slap him again if he touches her]

If you kill him, I’ll buy his revival, and you will never set foot in Thyme again.

How dare you defend that monster! He was intent on ripping our throat out!

No. Back off.

[ Grabs her arm to yank her back ]

No! Isildur!

[the name has the weight of a command, and it’s the only real warning he gets before 800 surprisingly solid pounds of poltergeist slams into his side]

[ The sudden weight pitches him sideways entirely too fast, unbalanced by his spread wings, as the side of his head rocks against the ground ]

[yelps and rushes forward, crouching down next to him. the ghost of Isildur retreats, eddying around Eliza in a cold shapeless fog.]

Oh no, I didn’t mean— Felix??
