Who: Everyone
When: Day 64, late morning
Where: the Aurora
[ Good morning, citizens of the Aurora! Or is it afternoon? The air seems to be filled with a fog that's rolled in out of seemingly nowhere, although if you let it fall on your tongue you may notice it tastes like Sprite... or some similair type of soda.
Speaking of that fog though, there's something else strange about it - wandering into it might cause you to weep uncontrollably, or at least until you hug someone. So... have fun with that! ]

Even the fog is some form of confection here...

She's crying quietly, but it will not stop. Even when she returns to the train, she still cries, you might hear her make frustrated noises from time to time, which only makes her tears seem that much more desperate and genuine.]

At any rate, 80H is keeping her polite distance, and her voice is quieter than usual--they're in a library after all--but she also seems...shy? A bit timid.]

I know I have been very difficult, at times. Sometimes, other forces were at play, but more often than not, it has been me. I simply wanted to apologise to you for it.
[and commit to doing better, but that is better seen than said.]

You as well?

[Just to see 80H crying and that's....well, that is Definitely A Thing.]

[(It may have been the top of bookshelves.)]
[But she has Thoughts and had wandered out into the fog to look for certain plants when suddenly the tears hit and that's...that's not something she's prepared for.]
[Tears are not something she should be doing, should be feeling, and she's stumbled into the lounge, trying to get control of her crying, but she can't. She can't she cant' she can't, WHY CAN'T SHE DO IT?]

Ill effects from outside?

[She's growling a lot, wiping at her eyes, but the stupid tears WON'T STOP.]

Is it not obvious? This world is attempting to drive us out. With rather weak methods, for which we should be thankful. As we should also be for a method to cure the effect, which I am certain we have been given. Can you guess what it is likely to be?
no subject
Oh! Oh, um, gosh... thank you? Thank you, I know that kind of apology can be difficult to realize and make.

Awful convenient all its attacks are so predictable. [Rubbing at her eyes. UGH, WHY TEARS, it's hard to see.]
no subject
And it is not so much that it is predictable- though I suppose it it- but the tools given to us by the Star Prince to defeat it are often the same.
