Who: Clover, Visitors
When: Day 61, evening and night
Where: Clover
[ After a long and interesting trial, Meri-in-Eliza has decided to DESTRESS ]
[ Namely by trying to climb the trees in her garden. Anyone who wants to join her will find that her bedroom door is wide open, and the curtain separating her "indoor" and "outdoor" areas pushed back. ]
Wah! Why don't humans have claws!

I do, but Eliza likes dragons lots. She wanted to try my wings.

Oh, you're letting her play you for a while. You must really trust her.

[ She nods though, beaming ]
Eliza's great! She's nice, and fun, and pretty, and she knows all sorts of things. I do trust her.
no subject
Knows all sorts of things? Like what?

[ Awkwardly scrambles up another branch, heading up towards one of the perches. ]
Um! All sorts. She's really smart. She's writing a thesis about dragons and how they fly, and she's been here for a long, long time, so she knows tons about the Aurora too.

[ Might also be climbing because why not ]
What's a thesis?

[ She grins when he joins her at the tree. ]
A thesis is, uh, I think it's a big, long essay people write at university, so other people know that they know a bunch of stuff.
no subject
[ Sorry, Roxas doesn't know that one that well. ]
I never really got a chance to talk to him myself.
[ Since fighting was happening... ]
Huh. So a thesis is a way to show off how smart you are.

[ Finally flops onto her back on one of the perches, wheezing out a breath. Eliza is fit and healthy, but whew, climbing trees is so much easier with four legs, a tail, wings, and claws- ]
Think so! People do thesisis [ that's the word, right? ] at university, which is a fancy word for a school.
no subject
[ No, he's not going to get into the Other thing right now.
He's still climbing by the way. ]
What's so special about a university compared to other schools?
[ Not that he knows that much about school... ]
no subject
[ Scoots over to make room for him on the perch, and reaches down a hand to help him when he gets close enough. ]
University is, uhhhh ... it's for older, smarter people? Like Mao? I think? He knows better than me. We're probably from the same "world" but not the same "planet".
no subject
What's the difference between a world and a planet?
[ Since he's never heard of planet before... ]
no subject
[ Dangles her legs over the edge, idly kicking them back and forth. ]
Hmmm. Hm. Hmmm ... [ Twirls a lock of hair around her finger. ] A planet's a big rock flying around in space. People live on them. Worlds are, hmm, when I say world I mean, realms of existence? Alternate realities.
Mao's from a planet called Earth. Eliza might be from Earth, too, but it'd be a different Earth.

Roxas nods at her explanation, as he leans back on his hands, still gripping the perch so he doesn't tip over. ]
I think I understand that. There's two versions of the world I know best too. One's made out of data though.

[ They were working with his memories after all... ]
Uh, I wasn't really in a good place to judge what it felt like... To me, everything felt normal.
[ Since he had none of his normal memories for comparison. ]
